PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device including a swing arm installed in its sheet sensing mechanism, capable of reducing the maintenance cost of the swing arm. SOLUTION: The sheet sensing mechanism 9 of this image forming device is equipped with the swing arm 10 supported in such a way as swinging in contacting with the sheet transported toward a sheet ejection part and arranged as able to sense the sheet through the swinging motion of the arm 10, and in the sheet sensing mechanism 9, the intruding position of the arm tip 28 of the arm to the sheet transport path in the non-contacting condition with sheet can be fixed in such a way as changeable freely.
