PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the generation of dust by making sidewalls of an accommodating part of a device transferring tray less likely to be scraped by any edges of the device when the device is accommodated in the accommodating part of the device transferring tray or taken out from this accommodating part. SOLUTION: A tray body 11 for the transferring tray 1 is formed from a resin molded product, and a plating layer 12 is formed on the surface of the tray body 11. Since the surface of the tray body 11 is plated, surface hardness is increased. Accordingly, when a liquid crystal panel 4 is accommodated in the accommodating part 7 or taken out from it, the sidewalls of the accommodating part 7 are made less likely to be scraped by the edges of the liquid crystal panel 4, and hence the generation of dust can be reduced.
