PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovering device of a spindle cooler oil in a simple structure for smoothly returning lubricating oil kept in a spindle stock for moving up and down along a column. SOLUTION: The spindle cooler oil recovering device 100 consists of an extendable and shrinkable pipe 1 and a discharge pipe 2, the extendable and shrinkable pipe 1 is arranged between a bottom face of the spindle stock 3 and a receiving pipe 5 of a lower face of the column 4, and the spindle cooler oil recovering device 100 consists of a tapered cylinder body (temporarily called as an elastic corn tube) in which a single flat plate is wound in a spiral shape. The lubricating oil in the spindle stock 3 is smoothly returned via: the extendable and shrinkable pipe 1 for extending and shrinking in accordance with vertical movement of the spindle stock 3; and the discharge pipe 2 for extending and shrinking in accordance with a back and forth movement of the column 4.
