PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic brush which is designed as an injection-molded plastic piece, and is in particular a mascara brush or a hair coloring brush. SOLUTION: The cosmetic brush has a main body 5 and a multiplicity of bristles 2 that project out from the main body that project out from the main body and is used to be applied to a cosmetic product. A portion of the bristles forms first bristles 6 that are integrally connected to the main body, wherein the first bristles consist of the first plastic material same as the main body. Second bristles 7 are connected to the main body differently than the first bristles. The main body has a main body wall provided with through-holes, the second bristles are integrally connected to each other by means of a connecting member 9 disposed on the main body wall, and extend through the through-holes, wherein the main body and the connecting member are immediately adjacent to each other and adhesively connected to each other.
