摘要 <p>A method relates to the field of power engineering, particulrly to the anti-emergency automatics, and it can be used for prevention of blackouts results resultant from stability loss and cascade tripping of generating sources in a power system (PS) caused by dangerous overload of a transmission network cross-section (TNCS). The method combines the sectoning of a PS for overload elimination using a two-parameter centralized system and its automatic self-restoration. One of the parameters of the centralized system is the power flow of the TNCS at the possible places of sectioning. The second is the maximum level signal of the multi-level settings of line protection. This latter, in the absence of a short fault recognizes the overload vs. the maximum allowable load. In response to this, the signal for sectioning is to be sent to the TNCS through which the power maximally close to the overload is flowing. The speed of automatic response depends on the existence of a signal about emergency disconnection. If such a signal exists, under the threat of stability loss the protection operates instantly. In turn, in the absence of this signal, under the threat of voltage decrease avalanche, the automatics operates with a time dalay. In such a way the TCNS overload is eliminated, and, with the minimum disconnectionn of consumers, stability loss and/or voltage decrease avalances in the PS are prevented that would lead to tripping of generating sources followed by PS blackout.</p>
