An attendance and absence management system using conversation type toy and a method thereof are provided to encourage children to concentrate on learning by controlling automatic conversation function. A recognition unit(210) recognizes clearly the intrinsic information of the interactive toy(100) passing through the entrance. The recognition unit grasps the recognition time information of the interactive toy. A memory unit(220) stores the mode information controlling the automatic conversation function of the interactive toy. When the interactive toy passes through the entrance, a controller(240) changes the automated function through the transmission of the control signal into the lock mode or the release mode. |
