PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a clear peak of a sample to be measured by suppressing the peak of a matrix body and a peak of a fragment, independently of the presence of a matrix because the molecular weight of a matrix agent for which solid organic acid is used normally is substantially 500 Da or smaller, since a large number of peaks derived from matrix agents are present in a mass region of 500 Da or smaller and the drawback that a sample to be measured having a molecule of 500 Da or smaller cannot be measured. SOLUTION: In the method, conventional matrix agents (for example, DHB, CHCA, FA, SA, or THAP) are subsumed as guests by matrix agents, by subsuming molecules (host molecules) having subsumptive characteristics.
