<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical composition based on Parapoxvirusovis (PPVO) having antivirus, antitumor activity, paraimmunization effect and other desirable therapeutic effects. <P>SOLUTION: Provided are a polynucleotide encoding the PPVO virus genome, a fragment of the polynucleotide encoding the PPVO virus genome, a polynucleotide encoding individual open reading frame (ORF) of the PPVO virus genome.
