PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a green phosphor for a plasma display panel and the plasma display panel comprising the green phosphor. SOLUTION: The green phosphor comprises: a first phosphor shown by chemical formula 1: (Y<SB>3-x</SB>Ce<SB>x</SB>)<SB>a</SB>Al<SB>b</SB>O<SB>c</SB>(wherein 0<x≤1, 0.5≤a≤3, 3≤b≤9, and 2c=9a+3b); and a second phosphor selected from the group composed of Zn<SB>2</SB>SiO<SB>4</SB>:Mn, YBO<SB>3</SB>:Tb, Y<SB>(1-x1)</SB>Gd<SB>x1</SB>Al<SB>3</SB>(BO<SB>3</SB>)<SB>4</SB>:Tb (wherein x1 is the number of 0-1), Li<SB>2</SB>Zn(Ge,θ)<SB>z</SB>O<SB>8</SB>:Mn (whereinθis Al or Ga; z is the number of 3-4), BaMgAl<SB>10</SB>O<SB>17</SB>:Mn, BaMgAl<SB>12</SB>O<SB>19</SB>:Mn, Zn(Ga<SB>(1-x2)</SB>Al<SB>x2</SB>)<SB>2</SB>O<SB>4</SB>:Mn (wherein x2 is the number of 0.2-0.8) and combinations of them.
