PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aryl O-glucoside, by which the aryl O-glucoside can highly efficiently and quickly be produced. SOLUTION: Provided is the method for producing the aryl O-glucoside, comprising subjecting a sugar donor and a phenol compound to a glycosylation reaction in the presence of a prescribed Lewis acid as shown in the expression, and then removing the acetyl group from the glycosylated compound A.
