PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball counter which can be installed for each game machine without performing troublesome working, permits game balls to be smoothly transported even if the height is reduced, and can accurately count balls. SOLUTION: The ball counter includes an introduction section 2 installed for each of game machines 7 and introducing acquired game balls 9, a ball lifter 3 transporting game balls 9 to a carrying-out position higher than a carrying-in position, an inlet-side passageway 13 having an inclination on which game balls 9 naturally roll from the introduction section 2 to the carrying-in position of the ball lifter 3, an out-side passage way 14 having an inclination on which the game balls 9 naturally roll from the carrying-out position of the ball lifter 3 to a game medium dispenser 8 provided between the game machines 7 and sensors 11 and 12 for sensing the passage of the game balls 9.
