PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily enable confirmation of quality of fusion between a sealing member and a pipe for repair when a synthetic resin-made pipe using a closing member and the sealing member is repaired. SOLUTION: The closing member 1 inserted into a gas pipe 2 or a hole 3 perforated in the gas pipe 2 to close the gas pipe 2 or the hole 3 comprises a nonmagnetic material, an external plug 4 having a through-hole 6 making an internal space communicate with an external space of the gas pipe 2 and a magnetic material, and an internal plug 5 inserted into the through-hole 6 to close the through-hole 6.
