PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electro-optical device, preventing electric connection of a terminal part of an FPC to an external connecting terminal through conductive particles from being non-connected due to a warp in the extending direction of the FPC generated by expansion and contraction of the FPC and shrinkage of a reinforcing agent after connection of the terminal part of the FPC to the external connecting terminal to improve reliability. SOLUTION: The method includes: an application process of applying ACF1 to the external connecting terminal 102 so that a plurality of conductive particles are positioned to be different in particle diameter in the extending direction of the FPC 112; and a connecting process of electrically connecting the external connecting terminal 102 and a terminal part 113 through the ACF1.
