PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a synchronous electric motor for improving output and efficiency without increasing vibration and noise of the synchronous electric motor. SOLUTION: In the rotor 100 of the synchronous electric motor, a ring-like magnet 1 is arranged on a surface of a back yoke 2 of a magnetic body. An outer peripheral face of the magnet 1 has an almost perfect circle, a pole center 3 being a center part of a magnet pole is thick, and an interpole part 4 whose magnetic pole switches is thin. The pole center 3 includes a uniform thickness part 5 whose thickness in a radial direction becomes uniform for a prescribed length in a circumferential direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
