PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing in a simple and easy way an L-shaped jack of an SMB type which is mounted on a printed circuit board and is connected with a coaxial cable. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the L-shaped jack includes a manufacturing process in which a sheet metal is formed by press drawing to have a contact portion 22, a manufacturing process in which the sheet metal having the contact portion 22 is press-punched to form a plane portion 11 which is to become a surface of a main body portion 21, a manufacturing process in which a connection pin 14a of an L-shaped pin portion 14, which is housed in the contact portion 22 and the main body portion 21, is housed in the contact portion 22, a manufacturing process in which a plane portion 11a on a side of a bottom surface which is to become a bottom surface of the main body portion 21 is bent at a right angle and a terminal pin 14b of the L-shaped pin portion 14 is inserted through a hole 18 formed on the plane portion 11a on the side of the bottom surface, and a manufacturing process in which another plane portion which is to become a surface of the main body portion 21 is bent at a right angle.
