PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computing device for infants and children which, unlike a conventional digital-display calculator, attracts interest of infants and lower-grade children by being sensuous to human senses of touching, seeing, and hearing and enables infants and children to practice addition, subtraction, and multiplication. SOLUTION: Infants and lower-grade children can visually comprehend addition, subtraction, and multiplication as the amount of lighting of lamps by manipulating channel selector switches of the computing device with their own hands and, as for multiplication, multiplication tables are notified by voice. The computing device is made compact and colorful and, further, is made strong to be indestructible even when it is toppled or somewhat roughly handled so that infants and lower-grade children can tackle these calculations with pleasure.
