PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth and sand discharge method in a joint of steel pipe sheet piles capable of simultaneously improving the discharge performance and cutting performance of sand and earth in the joint, discharging sand and earth in the joint in a short time, and efficiently discharging sand and earth. SOLUTION: At least a high-pressure water supply line 8 of a double supply pipe 5 for guiding high-pressure water to a high-pressure water jetting part 10a of a tip nozzle 10 is made of a material capable of enduring ultra-high pressure such as metal material to enable the jetting (water 16) of ultra-high pressure water supplied from a high pressure water supply pipe 6 from a jetting opening 11. Air is jetted (air 17) from an air jetting part 10b of the tip nozzle 10 to excavate sand and earth 4 with jetted water 16 and make the sand and earth 4 contained in the water 16. By the elevation force of bubbles generated in the water 16 by jetted air 17, the sand and earth 4 in the water 16 is elevated with the water 16 in the direction of an upper opening 3a of the joint 3 and discharged to the outside from the upper opening 3a of the joint 3.
