MOBILE TERMINAL PROVIDING ENLARGED STORAGE AND OPERATING METHOD FOR THE SAME

A mobile terminal for supporting an expanded storage space and an operating method thereof are provided to expand the storage space of the mobile terminal having a limited hardware condition up to the storage space of a remote server. A mobile terminal receives file information about data(remote data) stored in a user registration storage space of a remote server through a wireless network(ST10). An application program installed in the mobile terminal generates a processing command for selected data among the remote data through a virtual FAT(File Allocation Table)(ST30). Correspondingly to the processing command, the application program requests the remote server to wirelessly transmit the selected remote data(ST40).
