PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging machine, typically a cellophaner for overwrapping packets of cigarettes. SOLUTION: The packaging machine comprises a wrapping unit by which each packet is enveloped in a wrapper having at least two opposite faces disposed substantially parallel one with another, and a heat treatment unit by which the wrappers are subjected to a heat treatment. The heat treatment unit is equipped with a pair of belt conveyors that have transport branches disposed facing one another and set in motion in such a way as to convey the packets by gripping the two opposite faces of the wrapper, and at least one heating head connected with each transport branch, the heating heads are faced with a leaf of dry lubricant bonded to the heating head offered in direct contact to the respective branch of the corresponding belt conveyor, so as to minimize friction between the belt and the head.
