PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably generate write-in discharge, in a plasma display panel. SOLUTION: A plasma display device includes a scanning electrode driving circuit 43 having a mirror integration circuit 55 for generating a first ramp voltage rising up gently in an initialization period of at least one sub-field in one field, and for generating a second ramp voltage rising up at a gradient steeper than that of the first ramp voltage, in the last of a maintained period, and having an arrival potential different from that of the first ramp voltage, has a photocoupler PC1 of the first switching element for switching an output current value of a constant current generating circuit 60 for generating a constant current input into the mirror integration circuit 55, has a photocoupler PC3 of the second switching element for switching an electric power supply voltage supplied to the mirror integration circuit 55, and generates the first ramp voltage and the second ramp voltage different in the gradients and the arrival voltages, from the mirror integration circuit 55.
