Prefabricated modular laminate element for floors, which comprises a transparent wear layer, a decorative layer (1), a high-density floorboard sheet and a counterbalancing layer (3), plus a layer of compact heterogeneous vinyl (4), arranged between the decorative layer and the high-density floorboard layer, which significantly improves tread comfort, allows greater depth of decorative line and improved resistance to sharp-edged falling objects, and enables perfect joins with contiguous elements to be achieved, and likewise having greatly enhanced contraction and expansion behaviour that thus makes it possible to cover large floor areas without the need to fit expansion joints.
