A mushroom ventilator is provided to reduce the weight of a ship and facilitate manufacture and installation by reduce the weight of the mushroom ventilator. A mushroom ventilator comprises a coaming(110), a bearing(120), a cap(130), a handle shaft(150), a hand wheel(160) and a waterproof cover(170). The coaming is composed of a cylindrical body(112) and a flange(114) formed at the lower end of the body. The bearing has one or more vertical guide bars(132) at the inner circumference. The cap covers the upper part of the coaming to communicate with the inner and outer parts of the coaming. The handle shaft is inserted into a bush(140) to be rotated. The lower end of the handle shaft is inserted into the bearing to be rotated. The hand wheel is fixed to the upper end of the handle shaft and rotates the handle shaft. The waterproof cover is screwed in a screw part(152) of the handle shaft. |
