FIELD: mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to packing technique and may be used for sealing rods and shafts working in contact with high-pressure liquids. Gland assembly contains box where following components are located packing, press-on bush, press-on chamber separated from discharge chamber by check valve. Press-on chamber is equipped with draw-off and connected with discharge chamber via hole in the press-on bushing. Check valve is made as elastic ring.
