<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector for performing projection by appropriate brightness while reducing the swing of a projection image. <P>SOLUTION: The projector 10 includes: a light valve 62 for generating an image to be projected; a fluctuation detection means 111; a projection position control means 101 for moving the position of the image to be generated in the light valve 62 on the basis of detection signals from the fluctuation detection means 111; and a projection luminance control means 101 for making the light valve 62 generate the image so as to maintain the brightness of the projection image on the basis of the moving amount of the image by the projection position control means 101 and the optical characteristics of a projection optical system 61. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
