<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel electrode for an alkaline storage battery superior in high-rate discharge characteristics by forming a plurality pieces of current collecting passages composed of a conductive member superior in electric conductivity in a three-dimensional metal porous body. <P>SOLUTION: The nickel electrode for the alkaline storage battery is the electrode for a secondary battery in which an active material is filled into a belt-like three-dimensional metal porous body 1. At least at one side end in the longitudinal direction of the three-dimensional metal porous body, a current collector welded part 2 in which metal plates are welded is installed, and furthermore, the current collecting passage 3 composed of a plurality pieces of the conductive members superior in electric conductivity which are connected to this current collector welded part, and cross each other in the longitudinal direction of the three-dimensional metal porous body is installed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
