<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of providing suitable display on an LCD even at an ambient temperature such that the display on the LCD becomes unclear or the display speed becomes slow. <P>SOLUTION: The display device has the LCD 2 displaying information of equipment, a temperature sensor 10 measuring the ambient temperature of the LCD 2, a heater 3 controlling the ambient temperature of the LCD 2, and a heater driving means 4 of driving the heater 3. When the value of the temperature sensor 10 is below an operating temperature range of the LCD, the heater 3 is powered on to hold the ambient temperature of the LCD 2 above a predetermined temperature by the heater 3, so when the ambient temperature of the device becomes low, the heater 3 is powered on to raise the ambient temperature of the LCD 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
