<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection device for a reducing agent pump capable of detecting poor rotation of an impeller and searching a factor of the poor rotation. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with a pump case having a pump chamber formed therein, and the impeller disposed in the pump chamber and driven and rotated by an electric motor part, and is applied to an urea water pump (reducing agent pump) delivering urea water (reducing agent water solution) reducing nitrogen oxide contained in exhaust gas of an engine. The device is provided with an erroneous stopping detection means S10 detecting erroneous stopping of the electric motor part, and an erroneous stopping factor searching means searching whether deposition of urea in urea water in the pump case is a factor of the erroneous stopping or not when the erroneous stopping is detected by the erroneous stopping detection means S10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
