<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a reproducing video image during trick reproduction so as to be smooth in displaying the reproduction video image of an image reproducing device can high frame rate reproduction in an image display can high frame rate display. <P>SOLUTION: The image reproducing device and the image display connected to each other obtain respective equipment information and a control part of one of the devices controls the operation of frame rate converters provided in the respective devices in linkage.
