PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device surely displaying an image even in a big earthquake. SOLUTION: The display device comprises an electromotive force generation means 4 which generates, when a beam 1 is deformed, an electromotive force according to the deformation of the beam; a heating means 5 which generates thermal energy according to the electromotive force generated by the generation means; and a hue change member 6 which changes its hue by chemical change when a thermal energy exceeding a preset threshold is given from the heating means, and maintains the changed state of the hue.
