PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of collecting the dust of a coke oven riser discharge gas which can efficiently collect a dust-containing gas discharged from a coke oven riser by a small plant equipment investment. SOLUTION: The method of collecting the dust of a coke oven riser discharge gas includes emitting a jet of an atomized liquid against a dust-containing gas discharged from the coke oven riser 4 at the upper part of the riser and the jetted atomized liquid forms a multilayered atomization layer 8 having different droplet diameters.
