PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staking quality judging method for a driving rivet staking by which the staking quality of the driving rivet staking can be judged highly precisely, various non-estimated abnormal staking can be detected without omission, a useless staking can be eliminated, and a staking apparatus can inexpensively be configured. SOLUTION: In the staking quality judging method for the driving rivet staking, a loading curve showing the relation of the time and the load is obtained based on the staking load data measured for every unit time in a driving rivet staking process, and the load-changing ratio curve obtained by differentiating the load-curve related to the time is compared with the load-changing ratio curve at the time of normally performing the pre-obtained staking. When the difference of the load-changing ratio exceeds a predetermined threshold value, the staking is judged to the abnormal. In the method, the comparison of the load changing ratio curve is performed only at the changing point where the large difference is caused in the load-changing ratio curve between the staking normal time and the staking abnormal time, during the driving rivet staking process.
