PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cord lock where the end part of a mounted cloth belt or rope is hidden. SOLUTION: The cord lock includes: a front base 1; an arch shape insertion slot on the bottom side of an inclined rear wall 11 for the insertion of the cloth belt or the rope; a rear block 14; two connection arms 12 connected between the front base and the rear block; an opening 13 communicating with the arch shape insertion slot and arranged between the front base and the rear block; a horizontal block 121 connected between the connection arms so as to catch the cloth belt or the rope inserted into the arch shape insertion slot; a bottom part opening storage chamber on the bottom side of the rear block; and a through-hole 142 vertically formed in the rear block in a communication state with the bottom part opening storage chamber in order to retain the cloth belt or the rope, which is inserted into the arch shape insertion slot and caught by the horizontal block so as to retain the end part of the cloth belt or the rope into the bottom part opening storage chamber with the use of a positioning member or a knot.
