PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide measures against global warming, measures against energy conversion of fossil fuel and measures against food. SOLUTION: In the fermentation step of vegetables and/or fruits, chlorophyll and carbon dioxide are added together with an enzyme to irradiate them with one or more light selected from red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, purple and white of light-emitting diodes. The fermentation step and photosynthesis step using lights of light-emitting diodes, chlorophyll and carbon dioxide are performed at the same time to produce sugar.
