The invention relates to a disposable gas mask. The disposable gas mask comprises: a hood made from incombustible materials, the hood fully covering the head of a wearer and having a see-through window made from flame retardant materials in the front side; a neck cover made from the same material as the hood, the neck cover being foldably connected to the bottom of the hood in one piece along folding lines formed thereon; a compressed air container attached to the top of the hood to store compressed oxygen therein; and a tube-shaped oxygen bag provided along the circumference of the neck cover, the oxygen bag being connected to the compressed air container and becoming inflated with oxygen to tighten around the neck of the wearer at the same time so as to stop any inflow of the smoke from outside into the said hood. Accordingly, the disposable gas mask can be advantageously used in that it is safe and easy to carry around, thus increasing user convenience, and has a simplified construction contributing to a reduction in the cost of manufacturing gas masks. Further, the gas mask is easy to operate and easy to use, together enhancing its practical value, and can protect the respiratory organs from toxic fumes and smoke released during a fire, thus helping wearers escape and save their lives. |
