The tappet (1) has an axial valve (15) arranged at an inner wall (14) of an inner body (9). A ball (12) is radially displaced outwards in a rest position by a wall close section (18) of the valve such that the ball sectionally sits in a circular groove of a borehole (8) of a projection (7). The ball is sectionally and radially displaced outside from a ring gap (11) in a circular recess (20) or a seam-like cavity of the valve in another rest position. The inner body and a cup base body (3) are rotatable free to each other. The valve is formed as a thin-walled pot-like sheet part.
