<p>The device (1) has a cross-leg support (6) overlapping a rearward saddle edge of saddles, where the support is fixed by a fastening device in the saddle area. The fastening device has a fixing block (2) for establishment at a saddle pipe (3). The support is held by a support arm (4) at the saddle pipe. The support is adjustably guided with respect to the driver of a bicycle by rails (18, 20) of the support arm.
