Torque testing device for a suspension hook of a clothes hanger

The device (10) has a holding device (25) associated to a testing station (20), and fixing a clothes hanger (K). A testing body (21) apples torque of preset value on a connection between a suspension hook (H) and a hanger body (B) in a rotational direction. An evaluation unit (30) classifies the clothes hanger based on movement, which results from the applied torque, between the hanger body and the suspension hook. A conveyor (11) e.g. rotatably driven, bar-shaped transport shaft (12), feeds the clothes hanger into the testing station.
