<p>The device has a voltage supply unit (8) supplying auxiliary DC voltage (UH), which is larger than maximum nominal voltage value of both parallelly connected digital signal output control devices with respect to voltage potential (M) combined with supply DC voltage (US). A testing unit (9) is arranged partially parallel at load branches (4, 5, 7). A test switch (91) is temporary controllable, and indirectly supplies testing current (iP) into load (2). A status signal (MSG) is passed to a status output (6) above the testing unit when current flow is not detected over the switch.
