<p>The process for structurally modifying graphite phase of iron (c) from lamellar form to spheroidal or vermicular form through a funnel, which brings spheroidal or vermicular agents and inoculating agents together in a molten metal bath, is claimed. The modification of graphite from spheroidal form to vermicular form is carried out by partially or totally absorbing titanium liquid iron or other element by compaction or alloy inserts (b) that are positioned in a flow channel (a) of a mold. The inserts are substituted or positioned in the mold system by granular or crushed vermicular agents.
