Tube for an observation device

The tube has an insight level which is variable in length and height. An optical path is provided in which two optical elements are arranged. The two optical elements are arranged in the optical path in an independently moving manner. The tube is formed in such a manner that the optical path of the tube changes less than 30 percent during the variation of the insight level. The optical elements are formed as deflecting elements, particularly as deflecting mirrors (23,34).
