<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiving system capable of efficiently receiving and displaying video images or the like of a program based on a BS digital broadcast, a terrestrial wave analog broadcast and a terrestrial wave digital broadcast. <P>SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiving system which receives, demodulates, decodes and outputs the BS digital broadcast, the terrestrial wave analog broadcast and the terrestrial wave digital broadcast comprises: a means 16 for detecting whether a selected channel is for the digital broadcast or the analog broadcast when the terrestrial wave broadcast is selected by an external input, and a means 117 for selecting any one of paths for demodulating and decoding the terrestrial wave analog broadcast and the terrestrial wave digital broadcast based on a result of the detection, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
