Highly functional polyetherols, method for their manufacture and application thereof

Preparation of highly functional polyetherol, comprises reacting at least a tri- or highly functional alcohol and optionally other alcohols and/or compounds with alcohol reactive functional groups, in the presence of an acid catalyst, where the tri- or highly-functional alcohol is not a glycerin. An independent claim is included for the highly functional polyetherol, obtained by the above process.
