APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ACCESS IN P2P NETWORK

An access controller on a P2P(Peer to Peer) network and a method thereof are provided to evaluate the attribute of a service applicant to perform the access control without the help of a center server. An attribute processing module(220) collects the attribute of a service applicant, and then determines an access control policy for the service applicant based on the collected attribute. According to the access control policy, an access control module(210) controls the supply of a service to the service applicant. In case a service provider cannot collect the attribute of the service applicant, the attribute is collected from a peer existing on a network.
