摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission in which an accuracy of a synchronizing control is improved optimum shaft revolution every time when the synchronized action is applied. SOLUTION: In the automatic transmission having no mechanical synchronizer on the main gears, it provides a control unit which can control speed gear shifting and an actuator to carry out an speed gear shifting based upon the signals from the control unit so that the synchronized action takes place on the main gears. It is characterized that the control unit can detect a shaft revolution at a predetermined interval and by using a formula can estimate the shaft revolution during an intermediate period from the latest checking timing to next future checking timing based on the latest measuring value and the value measured at the point just one time before of the checking timing. Thus, the control unit can carry out synchronizing control during the intermediate period with the predicted shaft revolution.
