<p>The driver assistance system (11) has a controller (12) which stands over a data bus with multiple sensors in an exchanging data operative connection, where the sensors are arranged at a vehicle (10). A transmission of sensor signal is occurred for generating signal echoes such that an arrangement of a logical address is effected to one of the sensors to a pre-determined position. An independent claim is included for a method for operating driver assistance system for a vehicle.</p>
