A method for anodizing surface processing of magnesium-based metal is provided to prevent environmental contamination with electrolyte, and to perform metal luster processing or coloring treatment in a cathode oxidation process. A method for anodizing surface processing of magnesium-based metal includes a step for dipping the magnesium-based metal in electrolyte including dye, sodium hydroxide and sodium oxalate(S22); and a step for performing a cathode oxidation process while coloring the surface of the magnesium-based metal by authorizing voltage 100V or less on the magnesium-based metal(S23). The acidity of the electrolyte is Ph 10 or greater. The electrolyte includes NaOH 10~200g per liter and the sodium oxalate 10~100g. |
