<p>The invention relates to an apparatus for the sealing of inflatable articles, in particular tires, which includes a pressure-tight container (10) for receiving a sealant and having a connection element (16), a removal unit (20) for the connection to the connection element (16), a gas inlet (22) and an outlet (40) which can be coupled to the article to be sealed, and a non-return valve (32) which is provided in the gas inlet (22) in such a way that it closes when elevated pressure prevails in the container (10), the non-return valve (32) having a closure element (26) which is sealingly pressed by elevated pressure in the container (10) onto a valve seat (28) in the gas inlet (22). In accordance with the invention, the non-return valve (32) is provided in an end section (24) of the gas inlet (22) which opens, without being deflected, to the container (10) when the removal unit (20) is connected to the container (10). The invention further relates to a removal unit (20) for an inventive apparatus.</p> |
