A method for manufacturing paint is provided to prepare paint with excellent acid resistance, water resistance, bonding strength, weather resistance and water repellency even in a severe environment of acid rain, toxic gas or dust. A method for manufacturing paint with excellent water repellency comprises the steps of: preparing a dispersing agent consisting of isopropyl alcohol, polyoxyethylene nonylphenyl ether, and combined water; preparing a thickening agent by using an antifoaming agent, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, isopropyl alcohol, silver particles of 1-100 nm particle size, and combined water, and mixing the thickening agent with the dispersing agent to prepare the dispersion; adding sodium methyl siliconate and water repellent to the dispersion and stirring the mixture at 600-800 rpm for 1 hour; and stirring the stirred dispersion, acrylate copolymer dispersion with solid portion 45-50 weight%, and antiseptic at 45 ‹C for 2 hours; and cooling the mixture to a room temperature and leaving the cooled material for 24 hours. |
