An operation method of an internal combustion engine comprises: a step of adapting each alpha adaptation value(LAM AD) allocated to each temperature range; a step of assigning the each alpha adaptation value according to the each reference temperature within each temperature range; a step of determining measured fuel mass according to the operating parameter of the internal combustion engine; a step of amending the measured fuel mass according to the each alpha adaptation value allocated to current temperature; and a step of checking the one or more correction signal proportion if it is satisfied with a predetermined test condition.
