A crate (10) includes a bottom wall (14) including a plurality of dividers (18,20) defining a plurality of container pockets (12) and a peripheral wall extending upward from a periphery of the bottom wall (14). The bottom wall (14) and peripheral wall are thermoformed from a single sheet (300) of plastic, such as recycled PET bottles. Optional features include stabilizing feet (40), a peripheral lip (26) that prevents shingling and flexible retainers (146) protruding into the pockets (12) to provide a tighter fit with bottles (80).
